Mobile website control point (HTML5+Java)
Hi all,

I am on the lookout for a technology that will allow me to host a control point on a server in the form of a website. It will need to be a mobile site so you can access it from any phone, so that means HTML5 with java framework. Has anyone created something like this with open home? I would hate to have to create the website only to have it pipe into a c++ script running on the server to do all the heavy work.

Thanks!

RE: Mobile website control point (HTML5+Java)
Hi,

I started such a Project some time ago.
it is functional but not yet finished.
it is a lot of work to be done.

it is a C# server ready for hosting on a raspberryPi in your home network. This server provides a mobile/responsive web interface. You can search spotify (or any other source to be implemented) and Play those songs to the first available media renderer in your Network (selecting a device for playback is not finished yet).

You can find it on github: https://github.com/TilmannBach/cloudmusic2upnp
Please try it and feel free to contribute.
You want to continue development? Send me an email Wink
